MATATO SET TO ELECT A NEW EXECUTIVE BOARD AT THE UPCOMING AGM 2018.
01st October 2018, Male’: Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators, has announced for the nominations of members to the new executive board to be elected at the upcoming annual general meeting scheduled to November 2018.
Launched in 2006, MATATO is one of the leading organizations in the travel industry of Maldives, representing local travel agents and tour operators as general members. The organization is governed by an executive board of nine members, elected once in every two years, among the member representatives. Only general members can nominate and vote in the executive board election. A period of thirty days is given for registration of nominations and representatives for the AGM.
MATATO will be accepting nominations for the executive board till 31st October 2018, and competing candidates will be announced 15 days prior to the AGM.
